My expectation was 4.9 billion by June 1. Apple is about on target.

Horace – would love to see any fresh analysis of App download rates given their latest 7bn number reported this week. Are app download rates ramping up at a faster rate?

  I did update my data with the 7b number. It is a lower rate than the last update (6.5b). Pondering if it's worth noting. Would like to see a similar figure for iTunes music so that I can update the two at the same time.
