Horace Dediu

Founder and Author

Horace’s office is located in Laajasalo – eastern Helsinki – where he has a view of the Baltic.  He writes most of the Asymco blog and counts industry analysis among his hobbies.

Horace has eight years of experience as an industry analyst and business development manager at Nokia, preceded by six years of software development and management in a startup environment, two years of IT management and five years of computer science research in an industrial laboratory.

Horace has an MBA from Harvard Business School and MS Engineering from Tufts University.

Dirk Schmidt

Dirk’s home office is located on the other end of the city – in the suburbs of Helsinki.

Dirk has been working in corporate finance for six years. Prior to that, was an intern at Nokia as well as in management consulting.

Dirk has an MSc from the Leipzig Graduate School of Management – HHL.

Rami Salle

Artistic Director

Rami’s office is located in central Helsinki where he gets much better coffee. He is the artistic director as well as business developer.  He is a professional photographer and has a thriving commercial practice.

Asymco also draws on talent from around the world for development, design and creative solutions.
